WHERE WE STARTED
A huge thank you to Laura, who believed in my vision from the very start and helped grow our very first chapter. She was right there beside me when AF Social kicked off in October 2022 with just six women meeting for sushi —many of us going out for the very first time without ordering a glass of wine or a cocktail. It felt scary and vulnerable. No liquid courage, just raw honesty.
That night, we laughed, we shared deeply personal stories, and we realized we didn’t need alcohol to feel connected. We walked in nervous and unsure but left excited for what was to come, already looking forward to the next event. I’ll forever be grateful to those incredible women who took a chance and became the building blocks of this community—and especially to Laura, whose support helped bring this vision to life.
